Right now Travis and I are working on a project to centralize the process of creating proposals. We keep all of our client information in QuickBase but we create our proposals in Word. It’s very tedious to have to have both programs open and basically copy and paste information back and forth between the 2 programs. Wouldn’t it be cool if you could put everything in QuickBase (Client Info, Product names, prices, etc.) and then have that information automatically be populated in the proper areas of the Proposal in Word?
Well the good news is that you can! Using something called Exact Forms, you can create your template in word and then but just connecting the template to your fields in QuickBase bring all the proper information into the proper areas of your form.
